Fifty years ago, my father, Thomas A. Kundinger, founded our company in the basement of our home in Fenton, Michigan.  While my Dad built his territory and book of business, my mother, Dorothy, helped with the daily operations while raising my two older brothers and myself.

When we started in 1961, our primary focus was on Fluid Power Products and Services.  Over these past 50 years, we’ve transitioned from Fluid Power to Industrial Automation, Process Control and Instrumentation.  In 2000 we expanded our reach in the process and instrumentation market with the acquisition of SEECO, Inc., a manufacturer’s rep firm.  Through our sister company Analytical Process Systems, we now offer services which include system design, build, troubleshooting and ongoing service.

Over the past 50 years our employees have been an integral and proud part of our success and history.  We greatly appreciate all the people  who’ve crossed our path and worked with us these past 50 years.  Because of their tremendous support and dedication over the years, we are here to share our rich and storied 50-year history.

The other major component to our success is all of the suppliers we represent.  We have always been extremely proud of the companies we call our partners and many of our partner relationships have been for 30, 40 and even 50 years.  Our very first order in 1961 was for a Skinner  Electric Company solenoid valve.  Today we still represent Skinner which is now part of Parker Hannifin Fluid Control Division.

We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary with a day-long event for our customers, employees and supplier partners on Wednesday, September 14, at our facility in Auburn Hills, MI.  Our celebration will include educational seminars, supplier exposition and a special recognition ceremony as we look back at the past 50 years and also look forward to the future.
